  • Dennis Kerr was born in Antrim, present-day Northern Ireland.
  • On 4 November 1851, in New York, he was enlisted in the U.S. Army and assigned to Company E, 1st U.S. Rifles.
  • Dennis Kerr had blue eyes, light hair, a fair complexion, and was 5′ 7 1/4″ tall.
  • Was at the Battle of Washita (1868) but was not at the Little Big Horn.
  • He died 21 March 1890 at the Soldiers’ Home, Washington, D.C.
